Happily Ever After

Since the divorce I've had to change my focus and discover what happily ever after looks like. This past weekend I discovered that it starts with riding a princess ride with my princess and flying on elephant with my baby boy.

We had a fantastic weekend getaway. I'm thankful for Rylee and Robbie and the happiness they bring.

I look forward to our next adventure!

Changes

I am officially divorced,  it was finalized at the end of August.  The only thing I want to say on the subject is that I have no regrets. My relationship with the Twinjas dad gave me lots of good memories and it gave me Caleb, Rylee and Robbie.

Now it's time to find my new happily ever after and I'm looking forward to the journey.

Potty Training

Random Tibits from our potty training journey.

Day 1:

* They love their potties.  They love pushing  them around, climbing on them and using them as chairs when they are fully clothed.

* Rylee managed to pee on the floor twice, but it wasn't in her pants, so I'm putting that in the win column.

* Potties were still in unused by the end of the day.

Day 2: I woke up with a migraine and had afternoon errands, so I knew we weren't going to be able to continue the potty every 20 minute method. Today I just asked if they wanted to sit on the a few times throughout out the day. Rylee requested to sit on it once, but the potty is still dry. I bet myself a milkshake that someone will go in the potty tomorrow while I am at work.

Day 3: Guess who is getting a milkshake?
Robbie and Rylee both used the potty!

The rest of the week the have been resistant,  seeing potty time as an annoyance.  So for now we are just offering the potty and keeping in plain sight.

Resolutions

I have 10 resolutions,  for 2015.  It's a good thing I've decided sleep is overrated.

My first goal is to read 12 books. My original plan was to start with Gone Girl, but I remembered I bought Shiver of Light by Laurell Hamilton months ago, so I am starting with it. I've decided to meet my goal by reading 15 minutes a day, after I put the Twinjas in bed and before housework.

My second goal is to lose 50 lbs. I am going to start by making small lifestyle changes. Parking farther away, cutting down to small iced coffee in the morning and eating more of a Paleo diet.

My third goal is to sell more Scentsy and Perfectly Posh. I am going to try to do one party a month for each, find vend or events and flood social media.

To be continued,  someone is calling "Mommy"

New Year. New Me. Blah, Blah Blah

2014 was a painful year, I saw my marriage fall apart and we lost Caleb. There were moments of joy, thanks to my Twinjas and my marriage is slowly coming back together.  I have a list of goals for 2015 and plan to use this blog to help me stay on track.

1. Read 12 books in 2015. I am starting with Gone Girl.
2. Lose 50 lbs
3. Sell enough Scentsy and Perfectly Posh to go on 4 weekend getaways.
4. Get a better handle on our finances.
5. Read the bible daily.
6. Keeping the house clean and organized
7. Play dates for Twinjas.
8. Dates for Michael and me.
9. Spend time with friends.
10. Be a blessing to others.

Over the next few days, I'll write out my plans to achieve these goals.

Here's to a year filled with love, peace, hugs, dancing and laughter.
